Not my place

I try not to be the one to bring tears,
  not my place.

I try to be the one who wipes the tears away.

Startle you,
  making you laugh,
    make you smile,
       even if for a moment.

Even the jester cries,
  but we try to make you laugh,
    and it helps all of us.
