Difference in approachA Poem by Jon Roggie
Knowing how to use an acid touch,
words burning through the paper, consuming the thoughts before the reading, I tried again. Fire has a moment, but not to be overdone. Rather words wrote on the wind, scribbled in the sand, waiting for the wave to take them away. Once in awhile, if the stone is willing, shape them for those who find them. Words of anger, burn until they turn to ash, or quietly speak, a voice sent with the waves, heard in the winds, echoed. © 2014 Jon Roggie |
