Only 2011?

December at that.

Was it really so recent?
  Not even three years.

Sorry,
  just noticing.

I signed in here back in December of 2011.

Looking at the first two poems I posted,
  I notice a difference.

The first was a reactive rant,
   my first original piece for this insane place.

The second was one written a few weeks before,
   using a pencil,
     and a beat up binder.

I like to think I have combined the two,
  progressing in my writing.

Still,
  the second is still one of my best,
   and I am still trying to grow,
     continuing the flow,
        based off one simple poem
