The wind's caress

The wind's caress

A Poem by Jon Roggie

My second favorite,
  one so vital,
    and quixotic in its strength.

At its worse,
  tearing houses apart,
leaving behind a trail of destruction,
but I prefer the other side.

By nature,
  combined with experience,
    I have a feather's touch.

Stirring your eyebrows with a breath,
touching your lips with a barely felt caress,
     each a passing touch,
       like a simple breeze.
