A Poem by Jon Roggie

Just got the word,
  my friends.

Let us lift a glass for the stubborn b*****d.
  No tears,
    no sad words,
       not what he would appreciate.

We fill a glass,
  let it rest,
    and we finish the bottle.

He would like that.

"do not go gentle into that good night"

but raise a toast to the stubborn one who would appreciate that more than tears.

It felt appropriate. God speed, uncle.
