Lost beneath the covers

Lost beneath the covers

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Something about a Prince song,
  easy to express a mood.

Lost beneath the covers,
  searching with a delicate touch,
   knowing what you have found,
      with a sudden clutch.

Vision left behind,
finding your way with a simple caress,
response showing you found your destination,
while entangled in the silk sheets.

Sweet metaphoric bliss, this is. The way you hint at an erotic nature, but do not quite scream it out is ingenious. One thing I would suggest to add a little bit of depth and stray from unneeded repetition would be to change the last line. You could try something like "while still entangled in the sheets." Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed the read.

Good poem Jon.
