Suspicions

Suspicions

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I wish they were not there,
  but with recent events,
   how can you tell?

Tainting your trust,
  influencing your choices,
taking a bit of the light.

Leaving you to wonder,
  whose words are these?

Unintentional odes to forgotten inspirations,
  causing more doubts,
    freezing words,
a chill between the pen and the page.
