Delicate

Delicate

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Words quietly spoken,
  barely a whisper,
    inviting you to lean closer.

Another moment,
  feeling vulnerable
    trying to share my feelings.

Wanting to reach out,
  unable to try,
a simple touch would be too much.

Instead,
  I paint a picture,
    brush strokes quietly precise,
       barely touching the canvas,
each delicate stroke trying to create an image.

Thank you. Once in awhile, I can't help myself, and I write one like this.
