Let's see

I have to look at what I do best.

I seem to be able to tell a story,
  probably because I write like I would talk.

Each word is not one simply typed to a monitor screen,
  they are those I would say to you.
     I just wish I could make you see me.
       
I also seem to be able to create an image,
  a moment caught in time.

Simply passing along what I have seen,
  and again,
    I wish you could see through my eyes,
      because my words are only a shadow.

So what I seem to do is only give a glimmer,
  one catching your attention,
     wanting what I have seen.
