Honesty shines through

Honesty shines through

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Words written,
whether in a write or a response,
all have a feel to them.

You can tell when they flow,
  are being forced,
    or just don't really matter.

I can admit to the first two,
hope I have not dwelt in the last.

Because writing should be sharing a bit of your soul,
   even a quick glimpse.

So,
I will try to continue to be honest.

I love the CVs comment. Reminds me of a show called the IT Crowd!
Hear, here, I'm with you 100% on that one, to me poetry is all about sharing, not deceit, we may embellish our words with poetic license at times, but hopefully however they flow, they matter to someone....

Part of the reason I keep it simple, besides the short attention span. ;)

Sometimes simple is best, I tend to be more long winded, sorry. :)
