Soothing

Soothing

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Let's see,
just got done talking someone through a exploding marriage,
  now menopause.

First, it is always our fault.

Yes,
some of my chromosome nature screw up,
but you should not blame the rest of us.

We can not understand your womanly, godlike, cycles.

We tend to focus on sports,
and killing animals with various kinds of weapons.

Some of us write.

Before I am verbally abused,
I at least made an effort.

Go after the rest of them.
