Never going to learn

Never going to learn

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Preset beliefs are going to blind you,
never even thinking of the alternative.

An open mind is not an option,
  mainly because somehow,
   it has ceased to exist.

Claiming to teach,
  you only see one side,
    yours,
and the alternative has to be wrong.

So,
   the lesson becomes biased,
      leaving no room for thought,
except for those you call fools.

i think people are afraid to be open minded...what they don't understand scares them and it is easier to stay within a realm of thought which with they are familiar.
