Life of a tortoise

Life of a tortoise

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Yes,
  I hit a hundred years,
and was still a bit energetic.

Honestly, nothing against Ohio,
  but Toledo?

I've been in Diego for at least a couple of decades,
  and I like the sun.

Now,
you move me off on my own,
and what is a tortoise to do?
