To sooth despair

To sooth despair

A Poem by Jon Roggie

To bring forth a smile,
a momentary lift of the spirit.

Reminder of a forgotten memory,
or a vision of one yet to happen.

So many need this,
  and the effort is tiring,
    but one to be cherished.

Simple actions,
giving another a moment of peace,
     a chance to breath.

Opportunity for them to help another,
soothing the sense of despair to a forgetful state.
