Tossing coins into the fountain

Tossing coins into the fountain

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Each one is a wish,
  hoping to change the past.

Every coin a memory,
  one hopefully erased.

Another regret,
and this is the only way to try,
    try to change it.

Coin after coin,
if only one wish will come true.

I was one of those kids, teenagers and still do it...
I can't resist flipping a coin into the wishing well, the pond...
Hoping. :)
