Waiting for fall.

Waiting for fall.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I want to see the leaves change.

Feel the air grow cool,
and see the fog creep in.

Watching nature's progression,
  momentary dormancy,
   to be followed by rebirth.

So,
I wait for the leaves to change,
knowing they foreshadow a new beginning.
