The mirror's image

A Poem by Jon Roggie

You were supposed to give me advice,
not just a bit of obscure truth.

Why else would I put up with you?

Now,
  my plots are exposed,
and I am no longer the fairest to behold.

I should just shatter you,
  trying to exact my revenge.

Instead,
 as an act of spite,
   I will leave you hear,
     speaking vague words,
       making someone else wonder.
