I know.
   Sounding bitter from the beginning.

Still,
  it is an honest question.

Why?

Words echo the solitude I yearn for,
  hoping maybe something is there.

Some connect,
  bringing a smile,
    and a bit of inspiration.
 
   but I wonder,
     why?

Another example of a write inspired by everyday life. Call from a friend. Words which seemed to have been spoken before. This might have been the "pissed off" tone I was talking about.

A friend once told me he wanted to see me get pissed off. When it happened, I had a guy four inches taller, and known as a bruiser, making his apologies. He was another friend, but I think it was just the shock at my reaction. ;)

Considering I stand 6' 2", and while not in perfect shape, not too bad, it did catch everyone there's attention. I can say honestly, he would have kicked my a*s. Then, he would have been kicked out of my house. By my other roommates, before I had regained consciousness!

This is one best told in person, and with all parties involved. Being said, it was before a Kiss concert, me with a wrenched knee, and tempers rising!

This can apply to a lot of things, including the "WC" -- it's the reason I think, why many stop taking Read Requests. It gets hard sometimes to keep up, and you wonder why you are doing it, because sometimes it doesn't seem to matter except for a tally on a view or review, and the one they give you back if they bother, you wonder if they read your poem at all ...

I gave up on requests awhile ago. I have rarely sent them out, and yet I have received over a thousand of which I could not keep up with. Part of the reason I do just pick and choose. Same time, I think it reflects day to day. How many times do you receive a call, hearing a story sounding so rehearsed?
