Manipulation through words

Yes,
   I do it myself.

I do it for fun,
  merely to bring a laugh.

That being said,
  I recognize when someone is trying to provoke.

Words written to try and grab attention,
  adding to an era of hate and distrust.

Not here, my friends,
  out there in the so called real world.

In my anger,
  I can only weep.

Have so many sunk so low?
