Blind luck

Blind luck

A Poem by Jon Roggie

If so,
  why do I never win?

I guess it is part of my destiny.

Honestly,
  I have quite a record.

One not to be measured by monetary gain.

I stumble into creativity.

Musicians,
  poets,
    chefs,
       actors.

We tend to meet,
and usually with a wide opened eye.
     Happily playing,
       seeing what comes next.

Just luck.

Some are meant to be lucky.

Indeed. Measure not your luck in monetary and materialistic. An admirable quality in humans.

Physical wealth can be taken away at a whimsy. This we can call our own. Glad you liked this one.
i feel lucky in words....certainly not monetary gain...

a poor poet...but with enough words to survive on.

i like this piece.

Words or actions, you never truly see the results. Those are held by others.
