Blind eyes

Blind eyes

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Just because one can not see,
does not mean their is an absence of vision.

Eyes are not always required.

As the years pass,
  mine grows ever dimmer,
and yet my vision becomes clearer.

While walking in ever increasing darkness,
   I try to create light,
if only to help others see.

Yes, I can be cranky. I still try to put out these brief messages of hope.
