I am not sure how much the phrase is understood.

A case of who gives up first.

Who flinches.

Case of equal wills,
  both will lose.

Bad timing,
  one loses it all.

Try to be the one.

The one who laughs,
  walks away,
   shaking their head.

The one who has grown above the game.
