Another picture quickly fading

Another picture quickly fading

A Poem by Jon Roggie

The image stays for a moment,
  and vanishes.

The sight I see
  burns into my memory.

Forgotten.
  His life before him,
and seemingly his family's obligations towards him.

Memories fade more rapidly,
  and never a call.

More and more,
  memories created.

Try to give him pleasant ones.

Mine are of anger and disgust.
