Branches in the wind

Branches in the wind

A Poem by Jon Roggie

They all are different,
but for me they sound the same.

Depending on the time of year,
 each shares an age.

Some, the leaves change,
   showing the process of time.

Others,
  the evergreen,
    image of eternal life.

Each in a process of constant renewal.

I like the orange tree,
  an evergreen,
   returning something.

the value in nature and what it can teach us about life and human nature...

really nice metaphorical touch to this.

Mmmm, yes. That's what we call value-add. :)
