Yes,
  I did experience certain times,
   timing not by choice.

Yes,
  I visited the Wall,
    and visited the other side.

I wasn't there when they tore it down.

I remember hearing about John Lennon,
  I still remember the news on the radio.
    I never had the chance to see him play.

This carries over to Elvis.

I saw Metallica open for Ozzy,
  and it damn sure wasn't at Ozfest!

I was introduced to all of the additions to my family.
