Words like silk

Words like silk

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Seeming like a mild reproach,
  chosen to be ignored.

Final warning given,
and you only feel the satin touch.

Ignoring the strength behind,
  words spoken quietly.

with my words when I am furious. It seems
like they know I've reached my boiling point
compared to when I merely yell a bit.
