Cold summer's night

Cold summer's night

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Tired from the daylight heat.
  Bare sip of water.
    Saving for later.

Chill of the night settles,
  making bones and muscles ache.

Time to move,
  draw closer,
dreaming of a life across the border.
