Morning, Papa

Morning, Papa

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

The rhythm of this will seem completely wrong. Meant to be lyrics for a bluesy kind of song.

"
Morning, Papa.
  Do you hear me now?

Stopped by to remember.

Hope you hear me now.

If you hear me,
  please tell me now.

Morning, Papa.
  Sun is bright.

Do you feel the rays?

Do you feel the light?

Warmth on your face,
  chase the shadows away.

Morning, Papa.

Time has slipped away.

People forgotten.

You couldn't help but stay.

So,
  now you're watching.

Morning, Papa.
  Do you like the light?
