waiting for clarity

waiting for clarity

A Poem by Jon Roggie

standing in the storm
seem to be the eye

essence of calm
mixed with a hesitant smile

helping hand
with a rueful grin

waiting for a moment

Is clarity found in the eye of the storm, I wonder... Do we need to be overcome, torn apart, then sit for awhile in perfect calm to find it? But after all of that barrage, is that clarity that is found-- truth, unearthed... Or just the leftover fragments of itself?

This lovely poem, makes me ponder-- truth, and what it takes to clarify it... If a storm kept obscuring it-- will a calm, ever be able to reveal it... Or has it been damaged, forever....
