Going for a walk

Going for a walk

A Poem by Jon Roggie

What's that?

You want to come along?

If you like.

No,
  please.

This isn't a time for conversation.

If I wanted to talk,
  I would have said,
I am going to the pub.

This is a time to walk.

A time of seeing the stars in the sky,
  while underneath,
    life goes by.

So,
  try for moment.

Lose yourself in the world around you.

Not the day to day,
  none of it matters.

Let's go off the path.

Leave your comfort zone,
  and explore.
