Midnight's light

Midnight's light

A Poem by Jon Roggie

After darkness falls,
  and I come awake.

I resume my endless journey,
  traveling through the night.

Sometimes accompanied,
  often alone.

Constantly moving,
  unable to call anywhere home.

Somethings never more to see,
  memories slowly dim,
thinking of what can never be.

The past is done.
  Exist for the future.

A different life,
  living with the midnight's light.
