Slipping away

Try to deny,
  but I'm not a fool.

Started awhile ago,
  somehow didn't notice.

Slowly drifting apart.
  Should have been clear.

Once, we were so close,
  now our souls are miles apart.

My mistake,
  if only I saw the separation start.
