Summer days

Summer days

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Memories  from the past,
  simple and dear.

Moments of relaxation,
  ones made to be shared.

Time and location,
  opportunities created.

Friends pleasantly jealous,
  because they're not there.

Wanting to be able to go home from work,
  in the same manner.

Takes some time,
  but no reason to complain.

Floating home down the river,
  sitting in a tube.

Another summer day,
  so pleasant to remember.
