Betrayal

Betrayal

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Isn't it how you always feel?

Someone disagrees,
  and it becomes an attack.

Someone tries to tell you to cut back.

They don't know!

They don't know you!

They don't know what you have been through!

Now,
  we have to stop.

I have to show the other side.

Watching someone self destruct,
  how can it be easy?

Especially,
when you have went along the path.

Take the time,
  talk.

Don't confront.

Share.

If they are someone you care about,
  learn who they are.

Take them aside,
  and just talk.

Give a chance to realize.
