I wish I could write great reviews.

I wish I could write great reviews.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I feel my response is wanting.

I can't express my respect sometimes.

So, if you see only a few words,
try to see the feeling behind them.

Words are few,
   but hopefully not silent.

It's not about writing a good review..it should be about improving the writing we set out for consumption. That is the reasons for comments, to guide our course.
Because I am a quiet one..I felt lacking in reviewing when I first came. I came to realize we all come with our own talents/gifts to offer. Also the reason people are here differ. I thought everyone wanted to grow and improve, not so. Some are binding wounds, airing wounds, in addition to the numerous reasons to write or interact here. So I Choose a few a day and leave a bit of me. Constructive criticism is done in private through messages.
Dear Mr. Tortoise… reviews are gifts… do not worry or wish what you give is lacking.. it is what you are able to share and that is plenty for anyone !

:: well, i just received a review from maestro ed... he is the emperor of brevity and powerfully poetic communication and it says... "minds alert to alert minds, the endless and growing yes"... for me, it's not just a few words but a brilliant poem...

:: there are some who write really long reviews and don't convey even a fraction of what he conveys in just a few words...

:: there's much to learn in the realm of brevity... so, if brevity is your preferred way, you could pursue excellence in that... i think there are as many different styles as there are people... and we could pursue excellence in whatever appeals to our hearts... i think, therefore, that authenticity is everything... the number of words doesn't matter at all...
