I will be a shadow,

A Poem by Jon Roggie

  but I will not hover.

There are more than enough who will.

When the well wishers have departed,
  and you are tired of the constant fare thee wells.

Simply wipe a tear away,
  gone before you can see.

This has a sad feeling of loss, separation, and the desire to be left alone. But when reading between the lines, there is strength, and comfort.
