What is this "multi-tasking"?

I don't understand.

Is this something new?

Someone is supposed to keep track
  of a mere two or three tasks at once?

Thank you, my friend. This was a bit of a vent. I am usually juggling about six things at a time. I say juggling because the timing is the key. It takes a bit of effort to make everything arrive for the meal simultaneously.
