I can't miss Christmas.

You still have the bear.

First one,
   Just after your chemo.

Each year after.

You need to move out,
  after 18.

Not even your parents,
  but I need a free Christmas!

I have written a poem for each of my nieces. This one was a return. She underwent chemo and surgery for cancer growing around the spine before she was one. She came home a day before Christmas. She grabbed and held the bear when she saw it. Over a decade later, she still has it.
