Wander through the cactusA Poem by Jon Roggie
Time in the desert,
many think so barren Only look at the sand and the heat, ignoring the chill of night. Miss the beauty, so much beauty. Brutal, when the hawk takes moisture. Balanced, as the scorpion at night. Shell bears the scars, wander through the cactus. Dream of a garden, and a taste of strawberries. © 2013 Jon RoggieReviews
