Pebbles in the stream

Pebbles in the stream

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Even as a child,
  you took right to it.

Playing in the stream,
  watching the sandbed change
   with each pebble you moved.

No longer a child,
  but also,
   no longer a stream.

No longer a pebble.

New playground.

...now a river.

~ the river becomes deeper... and the pebbles become smaller...

...creating ripples becomes more challenging...

~ very happy to see a new post on your page, dear tortoise...

...your words were missed...

Just a bit of concentration on my other outlet. Busy times!

:: ah... of course... that's important too... :)
streams..how innocent they seem and as children..we learn to read the clear water and learn the consequences of actions...then we become adults and holy cow...those rivers have areas that boggle the mind at times as we continue to navigate..
