I will choose the dream

I will choose the dream

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Sleep is coming,
  and I can't resist.

Rest is needed,
  bit of a break.

Still,
  while I slumber,
  the world is mine.

There will be no nightmare.

I will choose the dream.

Thank you! I tend to keep it simple. Just feels more honest.
Reminds me a bit of a song by Tragically Hip, Gift Shop, one of my favorites and my favorite lyric from the song is this:

We're forced to bed but we're free to dream
