Moment's hesitation

Moment's hesitation

A Poem by Jon Roggie

...

Instant cut in time.

Pause,
    overly extended.

Don't mistake.
New game.

Simple choice.

Backwards,

       or
               Forwards?

Now,
  muttered dreams,
   become reality.

~ this is a very intriguing piece of writing for me... if i am completely rational, i think i'm living my dream in terms of living my purpose... but the experience of living one's dream is so painful sometimes that i wonder if i'd have been better off if i had no purpose...
