I wasn't the one

I wasn't the one

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Take a breath.

Have some coffee.

Here, take the blanket.

Called your family.

Sit here beside you.

I found you.

Stay til you are sorted out.

Know you are scared.

If you can,
  look into my eyes.

You are safe.

I wasn't the one.

Thank you. I would prefer these events never happen.

I agree but if they do...I would want a compassionate being to find me ..

~ this is a very moving piece of writing... it took me a long time to trust people after what happened to me... and no one spoke to me patiently as you do...

O.K. I just set for about ten minutes trying to come up with some response.
Thank you.
