Roses

Roses

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Worked together.
Tended the soil.

Gave them the care,
  so much needed to grow/

Water in the summer,
  warmth in the winter.

They have bloomed,
  my dear.

I will bring them to you.

Lay them on the top of your bed.

Keep them growing,
  and each time,
  when they bloom.

I will bring them to you.

They were your favorites.

Reminds me of the aster flower from the Robert Frost poem. Very nice...
