Make the dragon scream

Make the dragon scream

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Will you ever learn?

Just relax.

I walk through the flames of your anger.

Talk to me.

Not insults.

Don't try to arouse the fire within.

By now,
  you should know.

I will not let it go.

I will turn it within.

...or is it your goal?

Do you want me to burn?

Do you want to see how much I can withstand?

Are you trying to see?

Are you trying to push me to the brink?

Want to see my eyes turn red?

Is that what you want?

Take me to that point.

For no other reason,
  just to see.

Do you want to see the dragon scream?

~ oh, this is very, very powerful... and very, very poignant too... ~ i know this intensity of agony and anguish very intimately... i've seen it in me and i've seen it in others... ~ superbly written and expressed, monsieur jon...
