While I dream.

While I dream.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Take a moment,
  merely in dreams,
    where did the words land.

Did they help?

All I wanted.

Contests, reviews,
  they are not my goal.

Trying to travel,
  just move along the road.

Those of you,
  decided to take the trip.

Company is welcome.

I have to be honest.

I will be distracted.

Not the best guardian.

I can be paused while watching the rain.

When I return,
  try to reconnect.

So, if I vanish,
  vanish into the screen,
still will try to come back to you.

~ you are a very mellifluous cookie, monsieur... this piece is a very sweet song... it's marinated in earnestness... :)
