Don't write angry.

Don't write angry.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

The two of you just don't get it.

After almost fifty years,
  I am the youngest.

Still,
I will have to talk to the both of you,
  acting like children.

Moments that should be precious,
now will be tainted by resentment.

A week away,
  and the storm is building.

A few calls,
  just to let others know.

All it would take.

Just talk to each other,
  but,
  hey,
I'm just the baby of the bunch.

Never happened before,
why should I expect you to listen now?

~ an overwhelming piece, monsieur jon... ~ there's a situation in my home and we can't do anything but wait for better days... we can't talk... because the door is closed on our faces badly... ~ still...philosophically speaking...i tried to make conversation happen till i could without injuring my mind and heart... then i let go... we do what we can till we can... ~ the person i'm dealing with has the tendencies of a sociopath... we all do sometimes... but we prevent ourselves from succumbing to those tendencies... he doesn't...
~ so now we just do our thing and set an example... hopefully, he will wake up one day... that is if he doesn't kill all the humanity there is in him... in which case he'd have succumbed completely to those (sociopathic) tendencies... oh, and i must mention that he seems like a perfectly charming human on the surface...
