Driving the wedge

Driving the wedge

A Poem by Jon Roggie

I know it was a spontaneous event.
You want to keep it small.

But I have watched her grow,

Just a simple call.

Too much to ask?

We are family.

Now another moment,
  add to the cauldron.

Can't be the peacemaker without some help.
