Tracks in the sand.

Tracks in the sand.

A Poem by Jon Roggie

While I wander,
  thoughts my own.

What mark will I leave?

Etching on the stone,
  for the centuries to see.

Mere tracks in the sand,
taken by the wind before discovery?

~ well... i have the same thoughts... you've articulated them beautifully... perhaps when we start wondering, our quest for a purpose begins... and then our efforts to fulfill that purpose begin... and then maybe we get close to making a permanent impression through consistent effort... ~ very thought-provoking work, monsieur jon...

Thank you. Not sure where I dragged this one up from. It just seemed right.
