Sifting the sand

Sifting the sand

A Poem by Jon Roggie

Just an old geezer.
Staring off into space.
Doesn't even know what's round him.

Hide a smile.
So young.

Making choices.
So many will be touched.
Each grain so different.

Takes so much
just sifting the sand.
